Shawn Marie Steingruby

Shawn Marie Steingruby resides in Maplewood with her husband, Donald, of 30 years, and has three adult sons: Hayden, Ethan, and Daniel. She pursued her studies in Psychology and Women’s Studies at Saint Louis University before earning her Master of Social Work in 1994 from Washington University - St. Louis. Her professional journey led her to the Judevine Center for Autism, where she dedicated her time to providing emotional and social support to families affected by developmental disabilities. In a significant career decision, Shawn Marie chose to prioritize her role as a mother to her three sons, taking a break from her professional pursuits. Despite this hiatus, her passion for her work remains undiminished, and she is eager to join the KEEN St. Louis team, contributing her valuable experiences and knowledge to the organization. Outside of her professional life, Shawn Marie enjoys playing the flute in the Meramec Symphonic Band, engaging in herb and rose gardening, cooking, crafting, and hiking.
